I loved the idea for this mural. My client wanted a mural for her office based on Thomas and William Daniells’ pictorial journey through India in the 1700’s. A lot of this mural mirrors their beautiful watercolors as they traveled the countryside. Of course, there were other elements added in at the clients requests. We needed animals, birds, and a smidgen of ancient Egypt. Also added was her dog and real jewels to give some sparkle here and there.
Materials: Acrylic paint on birch panels

Client Comment:
“Brenda Hart is a wonderful, wonderful artist. So far she’s decorated two night stands for me, and designed and painted an epic 21-foot mythological landscape — part India, part Ancient Egypt, and wholly amazing. People who’ve seen the finished mural stop dead in the doorway and just go, “Whoa.” Besides possessing technique and imagination, Brenda is fun to work with and makes whatever she paints vividly alive. You’d swear her tiger is looking straight at you . . . and that he knows.”
