This cabinet was a plain white laminate and really was pretty uninteresting. I added a couple layers of brushwork to get rid of the flat look and give it some texture. I used soft chalk paints and pearlescent acrylic paints. To make it even more “fancy” I added tiny crystals to the flower centers.
OK, I admit that this cabinet is mine, so I am reviewing myself. “I love the cabinet Brenda painted for me. She really seemed to know my likes, by picking magpies which happens to be my favorite bird. And the Asian motif, the gold accents, it’s so me! She even embellished the flowers with bright, sparkly, crystals. My bath cabinet went from plain white to a soft, gorgeous mauve and lavender.”
